QS30EDV Description
Banner Engineering QS30EDV is a photo-electric sensor designed for versatile applications, featuring a diffuse mode with TEACH mode functionality. It comes with an M30 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C. This sensor is part of the QS30 Expert series and offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating, ensuring durability in various environments. It is powered by a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The QS30EDV has a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens, designed for a sensing distance of up to 1.4m. It emits visible red light at a wavelength of 660 nm and can operate in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. The sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy connection and features one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) with a response time ranging from 0.3 to 1.8ms.
