M18TUP8Q Description
Banner Engineering M18TUP8Q is a non-contact Infrared (IR) temperature sensor/transmitter belonging to the M18T series. This sensor features an integrated optical lens and operates in TEACH mode. It emits infrared light and is designed with an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape. The housing is made of Stainless steel 304, with the push button housing constructed from ABS / Polycarbonate (PC) and Thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) for the push button. The integrated lens is made of Acrylic, and light pipes enhance its functionality. It comes pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy connection. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc. It can measure temperatures ranging from 0 to +300°C and is suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures from -20 to +70 °C. The M18TUP8Q offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating. It provides 1 x analog output (0-10Vdc) and 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for alarms. The response time of this sensor is 75ms / 0.075 s, ensuring timely temperature readings.
