Banner Engineering M18TUP8 is a non-contact Infrared (IR) temperature sensor/transmitter belonging to the M18T series. It features an integrated optical lens and operates in TEACH mode. The sensor is designed with a stainless steel 304 housing, ABS / Polycarbonate (PC) push button housing, Thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) push button, and an integrated lens with Acrylic light pipes. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The M18TUP8 operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and can measure temperatures ranging from 0 to +300°C. It is suitable for ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C. This sensor is protected to IP67 NEMA 6 standards, ensuring its durability in various environments. It features 1 x analog output (0-10Vdc) and 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for alarm signaling, with a response time of 75ms / 0.075 s.
