Turck NI4-S12-AN6X-4-RS4T/S101 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and features a Flexlife cable design for enhanced durability. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 4m / 13ft pigtail cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector, ensuring easy and secure connection. Part of the NI...-S12 series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and moisture resistance is required. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and is designed with a partially threaded M12 barrel shape. The sensing face is made from PA12-GF30, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide, ensuring durability and a sensing distance of 4mm. It operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode and features a single digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN) with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size for mounting is M12.
