RU20U-Q12S-UP8X-V1141 Description
Turck RU20U-Q12S-UP8X-V1141 is an ultrasonic sensor from the RU20U series, featuring a 9° sonic cone diffuse mode for side sensing. This sensor is equipped with ultrasonic sensor TEACH-by-wire functionality and is constructed with an anodized aluminium housing and a sensing face made of PET (Polyethylene terephthalate), PU (Polyurethane), and Epoxy. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin M8 Picofast male metal connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 15-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It is designed with an IP67 degree of protection, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. The sensor's shape is a rectangular body measuring H12mm x W12mm x L82mm. It supports the IO-Link communication protocol and has 1 x digital output (10.8-30Vdc; PNP) for connectivity. The sensing distance ranges from 25-200mm, with a current consumption of 40mA at no-load and a maximum switching frequency of 20Hz. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity. The operating mode can be programmed to be either NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed), and it boasts a measurement accuracy (resolution) of 1mm.
