RI-02C6S3-2D1000-C Description
Turck RI-02C6S3-2D1000-C is a miniature incremental rotary encoder designed for flange mounting with a spring element. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +85°C and features a blind hollow shaft flange with spring element for magnetic sensing. This encoder is pre-wired with a radial 2m / 6.5ft cord with bare end flying leads, falling under the Type RI-02 series. It has a compact 24mm casing diameter and offers a degree of protection rated at IP50. The supply voltage requirement ranges from 5Vdc to 24Vdc, supporting 6Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc. It can handle a maximum pulse frequency of 160kHz, equivalent to a maximum rotational speed of 9600rpm, with a mechanical limit of 12000rpm. The encoder's housing is made of aluminium, and it has a brass shaft with a 6mm hollow bore. It features one digital output (push-pull with inverting signal; 5Vdc-24Vdc) and includes protection functions against short-circuit, magnetic field interference, and reverse polarity. The moment of inertia is 0.1 x 10-6kg.m2, and it offers a resolution of 1000ppr (pulses/revolution). The current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 10 N and a maximum axial load of 20 N.
