NI6U-EH6.5-AP6X Description
Turck NI6U-EH6.5-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-EH6.5 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and moisture are present. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and features a smooth cylindrical/barrel shape with a 6.5mm diameter, classified as Picoprox. The maximum switching frequency is 1kHz / 1000Hz. The housing is made of 1.4305 (303) stainless steel, with a PA12-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It has a sensing distance of 6mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) and features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The current consumption is 15mA under no-load conditions.
