Turck NI6U-EG08-AP6X-V1131 is an inductive proximity sensor/switch designed for a wide range of automation applications. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a 3-pin M8 Picofast male metal connector for connectivity. It belongs to the NI...-EG08 series and offers a high degree of protection with an IP68 rating. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, supporting both 12Vdc and 24Vdc nominal voltages. Its M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox) shape, combined with a 1kHz maximum switching frequency, makes it suitable for various detection tasks. The housing is made of 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, ensuring durability. It features a sensing distance of 6mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M8, and it has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.). Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's response time is 8ms, with a control circuit rated current of 150mA and a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
