NI5-P12-Y1X/S97 Description
Turck NI5-P12-Y1X/S97 is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor designed for operation in environments with ambient air temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. This ATEX-compliant sensor features a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft silicone-jacketed cable with bare end flying leads for connection. It belongs to the NI...-P12 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc and is housed in an M12 fully threaded barrel shape. It has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz and is constructed from PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) for both the housing and sensing face, with a TROGAMID end cap and a silicone cable jacket. The sensing distance is 5mm, and the thread size is M12. It includes one digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR).
