NI5-M08KK-AP6X Description
Turck NI5-M08KK-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed with an extra short barrel for compact installation spaces. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired PUR cable with bare end flying leads for easy connection. It falls under the NI...-M08 series and features a chrome-plated brass housing with a glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene sensing face and end cap, ensuring durability. The sensor has an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for harsh environments. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can switch at frequencies up to 2.8kHz. The sensing distance is 5mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The M8 thread size allows for straightforward integration, and it has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 100mA max.). Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's response time is 8ms, with a control circuit rated current of 150mA and a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
