NI5-K11-AP6X Description
Turck NI5-K11-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. This sensor is part of the NI...-K11 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and moisture resistance is required. It is designed to be powered by a DC supply voltage ranging from 10-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a smooth cylindrical/barrel shape with an 11mm diameter, and it is capable of a maximum switching frequency of 1.5kHz / 1500Hz. Constructed with a PBT-GF30-V0 (glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate) housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, it ensures durability and resistance to harsh conditions. The sensing distance is specified at 5mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and is protected against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity conditions.
