Turck NI4-S12-AZ31X is an inductive proximity sensor/switch designed for a wide range of industrial applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is compatible with network frequencies of 50-60 Hz. This sensor features a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for connection and supports a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (with nominal voltages of 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac) and 10-300Vdc (with nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, and 250Vdc). Part of the NI...-S12 series, it boasts an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 20Hz and is constructed from PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) for both the housing and sensing face, with an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap and a PVC cable jacket. It offers a sensing distance of 4mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor's thread size is M12, and it includes one digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire; 100mA max.), with a control circuit rated current of 100mA / 0.1 A.
