NI4-S12-AP6X Description
Turck NI4-S12-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting metal objects within a 4mm sensing distance. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and features a pre-wired 2m cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-S12 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. The sensor's shape is an M12 partially threaded barrel, and it can reach a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz. Constructed with a PA12-GF30 glass fiber reinforced Polyamide housing and sensing face, along with an EPTR end cap and PVC cable jacket, it ensures durability. The operating mode is Normally Open (NO), and it includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The response time is 8ms, and it has a control circuit rated current of 200mA with a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
