NI4-S12-AN7X Description

Turck NI4-S12-AN7X is an inductive proximity sensor/switch designed for a variety of applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and features a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-S12 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. The sensor's shape is an M12 partially threaded barrel, and it can switch at frequencies up to 2kHz. Constructed with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) housing and sensing face, it ensures durability. The sensing distance is 4mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size for installation is M12. It has one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; TTL-compatible) capable of handling a maximum current of 200mA, with a response time of 8ms.
