NI4-M12-AD4X Description
Turck NI4-M12-AD4X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-M12 series and features a partially threaded M12 barrel shape. It offers a protection degree of IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. The supply voltage ranges from 10 to 65Vdc, accommodating 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc nominal voltages. The NI4-M12-AD4X has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz and is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. It provides a sensing distance of 4mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M12, and it features one digital output (10-65Vdc; DC 2-wire; 100mA max.). Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated at 100mA / 0.1 A.
