Turck NI3.5-Q5.5-RN6X-0.3-VSG3M is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metallic objects within a 3.5mm sensing distance. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 30cm / 12" pigtail PUR cable that terminates with a 3-pin M5 Pentafast male connector. This sensor is part of the NI...-Q5.5 series and features a 5.5mm thick rectangular body with a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It supports a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz. The housing is made of PP (Polypropylene) with a PP-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene) sensing face and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode and offers one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.). The sensor also includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
