NI3-M08K-AN6X Description
Turck NI3-M08K-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired PUR cable with bare end flying leads for connection. It features a short barrel design, part of the NI...-M08 series, and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. The supply voltage required for operation is between 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its shape is an M8 partially threaded short cylindrical/barrel, and it can switch at frequencies up to 2.8kHz. The sensor's housing is made of chrome-plated brass, with a sensing face and end cap constructed from glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene (PP-GF20), and a cable jacket of Polyurethane (PUR). It has a sensing distance of 3mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size for mounting is M8. It features one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.) and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The response time is 8ms, and it has a control circuit rated current of 150mA with a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
