NI3-EH6.5K-AP6X Description
Turck NI3-EH6.5K-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired PUR cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-EH6.5 series and features a short barrel design with a 6.5mm diameter smooth cylindrical shape, known as Picoprox. It offers a sensing distance of 3mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor is constructed with a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PBT sensing face, a PP end cap, and a PUR cable jacket, ensuring durability and resistance to environmental conditions. It is protected against short-circuits (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a degree of protection rated at IP67. The supply voltage required is 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features a single digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz, and a response time of 8ms. The control circuit is rated for a current of 150mA, and the sensor has a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
