NI3-EH6.5K-AN6X Turck Inductive Sensors

Turck NI3-EH6.5K-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired PUR cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-EH6.5 series and features a short barrel design with a 6.5mm diameter smooth cylindrical shape, known as Picoprox. It offers a sensing distance of 3mm and operates in a normally open (NO) configuration. The sensor has a supply voltage requirement of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and supports a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz. Constructed with a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PBT sensing face, a PP end cap, and a PUR cable jacket, it ensures durability. The sensor provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.) and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. It has a response time of 8ms and a control circuit rated current of 150mA, with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The device is IP67 rated, indicating a high degree of protection against dust and water ingress.
