NI3-EH6.5-AP6X Description
Turck NI3-EH6.5-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired PUR cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-EH6.5 series and features a 6.5mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel shape, known as Picoprox. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The supply voltage required for operation is between 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It has a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz and is constructed with a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PBT sensing face, a PP end cap, and a PUR cable jacket. The sensing distance is 3mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) and features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its response time is 8ms, with a control circuit rated current of 150mA and a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
