NI3-EG08K-Y1 6M Description
Turck NI3-EG08K-Y1 6M is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor designed for operation in environments with ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. This ATEX-compliant, short barrel special version is distinguished by its lack of an LED indicator and is equipped with a pre-wired 6m / 19ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. As part of the NI...-EG08 series, it features an IP67 degree of protection and operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. The sensor's shape is an M8 fully threaded short cylindrical/barrel (Picoprox), capable of a maximum switching frequency of 5kHz / 5000Hz. It is constructed with a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PA12-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. The sensing distance is 3mm, with a thread size of M8, and it includes 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR).
