Turck NI3-EG08-RP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-EG08 series and features a fully threaded M8 barrel (Picoprox) shape, ensuring a compact and versatile installation. With a supply voltage requirement of 10-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.), it offers a sensing distance of 3mm and operates in a normally closed (NC) mode. The sensor's housing is made from 1.4305 (303) stainless steel, with a PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) sensing face, PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket, ensuring durability and resistance to environmental conditions. It has a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz / 3000Hz and includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) for signal transmission.
