NI3-EG08-AN6X/S1589 Description
Turck NI3-EG08-AN6X/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a wide range of automation applications. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m cable for connectivity, featuring a pre-wired design with bare end flying leads for easy installation. The NI...-EG08 series sensor boasts a Weldguard coated, M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox) design, ensuring durability and compatibility with various setups. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can handle a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz. Constructed with a 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing, it ensures longevity and resistance to harsh conditions. The sensing distance is set at 3mm, with an operating mode of Normally Open (NO). It features an M8 thread size and includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.), capable of withstanding short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity conditions. The sensor's response time is quick, at 8ms or 0.008 seconds, with a control circuit rated current of 150mA or 0.15 A.
