NI15U-M18-AN6X Description
Turck NI15U-M18-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-M18 series and features a partially threaded M18 barrel shape. It offers a sensing distance of 15mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing, an LCP sensing face, an EPTR end cap, and a PVC cable jacket, ensuring durability. It is designed to work with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and supports a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz. The NI15U-M18-AN6X provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. It has a control circuit rated current of 200mA and a no-load current consumption of 25mA. The sensor's degree of protection is IP68, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water ingress.
