NI15U-M18M-VP6X Description
Turck NI15U-M18M-VP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a wide range of automation applications. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and features a medium barrel length design. It comes pre-wired with a 2-meter cable that terminates in bare end flying leads, fitting into the NI...-M18 series. With an IP68 degree of protection, it is well-suited for environments requiring a high level of dust and water resistance. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can handle a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz. Its chrome-plated brass housing ensures durability, and it offers a sensing distance of 15mm. The operating mode includes NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs, making it versatile for different circuit conditions. The M18 thread size facilitates easy installation, and it features a single digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity.
