NI15U-EM18WDTC-AP6X Description
Turck NI15U-EM18WDTC-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40°C to +100°C and features a connection type pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and an M16x1.5 entry. This sensor is part of the NI...-EM18 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68 and IP69K, making it resistant to washdowns. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and is encased in a partially threaded M18 barrel with a terminal chamber. The sensor can switch at frequencies up to 1kHz and is constructed from 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel housing with an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) sensing face. It has a sensing distance of 15mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size is M18, and it includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection, with a current consumption of 25mA under no-load conditions.
