NI15-M30-AD4X Description
Turck NI15-M30-AD4X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for easy installation. It falls under the NI...-M30 series and features a partially threaded M30 barrel shape. The sensor is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket, ensuring durability in challenging environments. With an IP67 degree of protection, it is well-suited for use in areas exposed to dust and water. The NI15-M30-AD4X operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc, and offers a sensing distance of 15mm. It features a maximum switching frequency of 200Hz and includes one digital output (10-65Vdc; DC 2-wire; 100mA max.) that operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor also incorporates protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a control circuit rated current of 100mA / 0.1 A.
