NI15-EM30D-VP6X/S120 Description
Turck NI15-EM30D-VP6X/S120 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a wide range of automation applications. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +120°C and is equipped with a 2m PTFE-jacketed cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. It falls under the NI...-EM30 series and features a degree of protection rated at IP68, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its design includes a partially threaded M30 barrel shape, and it can achieve a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz. The housing is made from 1.4571 (316Ti) stainless steel, with a PTFE sensing face, end cap, and cable jacket, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh chemicals. The sensing distance is specified at 15mm, and it offers both NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs. The thread size for mounting is M30. It has one digital output that supports 10-30Vdc PNP with a maximum current of 200mA. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The response time is quick at 8ms or 0.008 seconds, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA/0.2 A and a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
