BR-EG08K-ADZ71 Description

Turck BR-EG08K-ADZ71 is a position sensor within the BR-EG08K series, designed as an embeddable magnetic field sensor/switch with Reed contact. It operates on a supply voltage range of 3-140Vac (with nominal voltages of 6Vac, 12Vac, 24Vac, 48Vac, and 120Vac) and 4-200Vdc (with nominal voltages of 5Vdc, 6Vdc, 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 120Vdc, and 200Vdc). The sensor is housed in 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel with a PA12-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It features a pre-wired connection with a 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M8 fully threaded cylindrical/barrel (Picoprox), offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +90°C. The BR-EG08K-ADZ71 includes 1 x digital output (3-140Vac / 4-200Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire pow. MOSFET output; 100mA max.) and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode, with an M8 thread size.
