BIM-UNT-AP6X/3GD Description
Turck BIM-UNT-AP6X/3GD is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch that belongs to the BIM-UNT series. This sensor is designed with a safety mounting clip for embeddable Permaprox cylinder sensing and comes in a T-groove body shape for T-slot mounting. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The housing and sensing face are made of Polypropylene (PP), and it features a Polyurethane (PUR) cable jacket. The sensor is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connection. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP68, making it suitable for harsh environments. The maximum switching frequency is 1kHz / 1000Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BIM-UNT-AP6X/3GD has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) and a no-load current consumption of 15mA. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The operating mode for this sensor is Normally Open (NO).
