BIM-NST-RP6X Description
Turck BIM-NST-RP6X is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch belonging to the BIM-NST series. It features a clamp-on cylinder design that is embeddable, with a Permaprox cylinder sensor. This part operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The housing and sensing face are made of PA12-GF30, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide, and it comes with a PVC cable jacket. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has a rectangular body shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor operates at a frequency of up to 1kHz / 1000Hz maximum switching frequency and can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The BIM-NST-RP6X is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
