BIM-NST-AP6X-V1131 Description
Turck BIM-NST-AP6X-V1131 is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch belonging to the BIM-NST series. This sensor features a mounting clip clamp-on cylinder design, making it embeddable in Permaprox cylinder sensors. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The housing and sensing face are made from PA12-GF30, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide, ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin M8 Picofast male metal connector for easy connection. The sensor has a rectangular body shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for challenging environments. It can operate at a frequency of up to 1kHz or 1000Hz maximum switching frequency. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -25°C and +70°C. It features 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensor includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA or 0.2 A, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
