BIM-M12E-Y1X-H1141 Description

Turck BIM-M12E-Y1X-H1141 is an intrinsically-safe magnetic cylinder position sensor/switch belonging to the BIM-M12E series. This sensor features an ATEX compliant extended barrel embeddable design, suitable for hazardous environments. It operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc and is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing and a PBT-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate) sensing face for durability. The sensor is pre-equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy connection. Its M12 partially threaded barrel shape is designed for straightforward installation. With an IP67 degree of protection, it is safeguarded against dust and water ingress. The sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz (1000Hz). It features 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and has an M12 thread size for mounting.
