BIM-M12E-AN4X Turck Magnetic Field Sensors

Turck BIM-M12E-AN4X is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch belonging to the BIM-M12E series, designed with an extended barrel that is embeddable. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing, a sensing face made of glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30), an Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber (EPTR) end cap, and a Polyurethane (PUR) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m or approximately 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M12 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz or 1000Hz, can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, and features one digital output (10-65Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA under no-load conditions, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA or 0.2 A, with a thread size of M12 and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
