BIM-EG08-AP6X-0.2-PSG3M Description
Turck BIM-EG08-AP6X-0.2-PSG3M is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch that falls under the BIM-EG08 series. This sensor is designed to be embeddable and operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features a 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 20cm / 8" pigtail PUR cable that terminates with a 3-pin M8 Picofast threaded coupler nut male connector. Its shape is an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox), and it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M8, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
