BI6-EG12FE-AP6X Description
Turck BI6-EG12FE-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG12 series, designed with an extended barrel that is embeddable. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing and sensing face, and features a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M12 fully threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP68. It has a maximum switching frequency of 600Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 10mA and a sensing distance of 6mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open) with a thread size of M12.
