Turck BI5U-MT18M-AD4X-0.3-RS4.23/XOR is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-MT18 series. This sensor features a medium barrel length that is embeddable, designed with a PTFE-coated brass housing and an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) sensing face, along with a PVC cable jacket. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 30cm / 12" irradiated PVC pigtail cable, terminating in a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. The sensor's shape is an M18 partially threaded medium length cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP68. It has a maximum switching frequency of 10Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor provides 1 x digital output (10-65Vdc; DC 2-wire; 100mA max.), with a sensing distance of 5mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M18, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
