BI5U-EM18E-AN6X Description
Turck BI5U-EM18E-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EM18 series. This sensor features an extended barrel embeddable design with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is constructed with a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing and is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The shape is an M18 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It operates at a frequency of up to 2.5kHz / 2500Hz max. switching frequency and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN) and has a sensing distance of 5mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M18, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
