BI5-EM18-Y1X-B1341/S561 Description
Turck BI5-EM18-Y1X-B1341/S561 is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EM18 series. This ATEX compliant, embeddable sensor operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc and features a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. It is equipped with a 4-pin 7/8"-16 UN Minifast male connector for connectivity. The sensor's shape is an M18 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor provides 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and has a sensing distance of 5mm, with a thread size of M18.
