Turck BI40-CP80-VN4X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-CP80 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a housing and sensing face made from PBT-GF30-V0, a glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate, ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The rectangular body measures H80mm x W80mm and is designed for Combiprox applications. With an IP67 degree of protection, it can withstand harsh environments. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. It offers one digital output (10-65Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 40mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, and it supports operating modes of NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
