Turck BI40-CP80-FDZ30X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-CP80 series designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (24Vac / 200Vac / 220Vac / 240Vac nominal) and 10-300Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc / 48Vdc / 120Vdc / 200Vdc / 250Vdc nominal). The sensor features a PBT-GF30-V0 (glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate) housing and sensing face, ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The sensor has an H80mm x W80mm rectangular body (Combiprox) with a terminal chamber, offering an IP67 degree of protection against ingress. It supports a maximum switching frequency of 20Hz and is compatible with network frequencies of 50-60 Hz. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -25°C and +70°C. This model includes 1 x digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire power MOSFET output; 400mA max.), with a sensing distance of 40mm. It features protection functions such as output short-circuit and overload protection (Latched SCP), and offers a control circuit rated current of 300-400mA / 0.3-0.4 A. The operating mode is programmable to be either NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed).
