BI4-EM12E-AP45XLD/S100 Description
Turck BI4-EM12E-AP45XLD/S100 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EM12 series, designed with an extended barrel that is embeddable. It operates with a supply voltage range of 8.4-64Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, and 60Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer) cable jacket. It features a pre-wired connection with a 2m / 6.5ft TPE-jacketed cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The shape is an M12 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP68. It has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz, can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40°C to +100°C, and includes 1 x digital output (8.4-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA at no-load, with a sensing distance of 4mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
