BI3U-EM12-AP6X/3D Description
Turck BI3U-EM12-AP6X/3D is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EM12 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing, a PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads, and it has an M12 partially threaded barrel shape. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP68 and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The sensor supports a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz / 3000Hz and includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 25mA. The sensing distance is 3mm, and it features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M12, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
