BI3-M18-AP6X/S903 Description
Turck BI3-M18-AP6X/S903 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M18 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing, a sensing face made of PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide), an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M18 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -30°C to +70°C. The BI3-M18-AP6X/S903 features 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 3mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M18, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
