BI3-M08E-AP6X Description
Turck BI3-M08E-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M08 series, designed with an extended barrel that is embeddable. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing, a sensing face and end cap made of glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene (PP-GF20), and a cable jacket of Polyurethane (PUR). It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The shape is an M8 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 2.8kHz / 2800Hz, can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, and includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA with no load, and it has a sensing distance of 3mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M8, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
