BI3-M08-AN6X Description
Turck BI3-M08-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M08 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a nickel-plated brass housing, a sensing face and end cap made of glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene (PP-GF20), and a Polyurethane (PUR) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m (approximately 6.5ft) PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M8 partially threaded barrel, offering an IP67 degree of protection. It has a maximum switching frequency of 2.8kHz (2800Hz), can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, and has a response time of 8ms (0.008 seconds). The sensor includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA, a sensing distance of 3mm, and is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its control circuit is rated for a current of 150mA (0.15 A), and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
