Turck BI2U-EGT08-AP6X-V1131/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-EGT08 series, featuring a Weldguard coated, embeddable design. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is constructed with a PTFE-coated 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing and a PTFE-coated PA12-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. This sensor is equipped with a 3-pin M8 Picofast male metal connector for connection, and it has an M8 fully threaded barrel shape. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP68 and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz, a digital output of 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), and a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 2mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M8, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
