Turck BI2U-EG08-AP6X-V1131 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. This sensor is equipped with a 3-pin M8 Picofast male metal connector for connectivity. Its shape is an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox), ensuring a compact and versatile installation. The sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP68, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. It has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The response time is quick at 8ms / 0.008 s. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 2mm, and it features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 150mA / 0.15 A. The thread size for mounting is M8, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
