BI2U-EGT08-AN6X-0.5-RS4T/S1589 Description
Turck BI2U-EGT08-AN6X-0.5-RS4T/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-EGT08 series, featuring a Weldguard coated embeddable design. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is housed in PTFE-coated 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel with a PTFE-coated PA12-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. It comes pre-wired with a 50cm / 20" pigtail cable, terminating in a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. This M8 fully threaded barrel-shaped sensor offers an IP67 degree of protection, a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz, and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. It features one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN), a sensing distance of 2mm, and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The operating mode is NO (Normally Open), and it has an M8 thread size.
