Turck BI2U-EG08-RP6X-V1131 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin M8 Picofast male metal connector for connectivity. The sensor's shape is an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox), ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP68. It can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and is suitable for ambient air temperatures ranging from -30°C to +85°C. The BI2U-EG08-RP6X-V1131 offers one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 2mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The sensor operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode and features an M8 thread size.
